Sena Launch New Features

Introducing Mesh Reach-Out and the all new GoPro integration for new and current Sena users

Mesh Reach-Out: Now you can ask your friends to turn Mesh Intercom on via audio invitation!

Up until now, there was no way to ask a friend to turn Mesh Intercom on during a ride. Now with Mesh Reach-Out, you can send a “Mesh Intercom Requested” audio message by pressing the dedicated Mesh button three times on your Sena communication device. Fellow riders within in a 100m radius who are not connected to a Mesh network will receive the invitation to join. Mesh Reach-Out is useful for riders who forget to turn their Mesh on at the beginning of ride, or come across a group who would like to connect, mid-ride.

The Mesh Reach-Out” feature is available via firmware update on Sena's Mesh equipped devices, including the 50S, 50R, 50C, SRL-Mesh, SRL-EXT, Impulse, Stryker, SPIDER ST1/RT1, and 30K devices.

Control Your GoPro via Voice Command While You Ride!

Riders can now control their GoPro camera via their Sena 50R or 50S communication device using voice commands like “GoPro, camera on” and “GoPro, start recording”. The new feature was developed by Sena to provide adventure seekers the option to keep their hands on the bars and their focus on the road or trail. Record video, take snapshots or film timelapses in a safer, more convenient way!

The Sena GoPro integration was created in part thanks to the Open GoPro API Program. The feature is compatible with all GoPro models that support voice commands including the GoPro Hero 8, 9, 10, 11 and Max.

Current 50S and 50R owners can access the GoPro integration by updating their firmware and adding the “GoPro Pairing” feature through the Sena Device Manager (from a computer or included WiFi adaptor).
